Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Trans (LGBT+) people should be able to be themselves in the workplace, so that they can do their best work and get on in life. Existing evidence suggests that the discrimination, harassment and bullying that disproportionately affect LGBT people in various aspects of their lives continues to be an issue in the workplace. This is true for those with minority sexual orientations and even more so for those with minority gender identities. This policy sets out workplace law relating to LGBT+ workers and the organisation’s commitments to support their work and promote an equal, diverse and inclusive workplace.
